Tip of the iceburg?
What the dockworkers (and all our working class) are upset about is losing jobs due to technological advances.
This has been a constant since the Industrial and Agricultural revolutions.
With AI it will also involve white color workers.
Unfortunately, government jobs are totally unproductive and suck capitol out of free markets... triggering a downward economic cycle.
Similarly, agreeing not to innovate technologically leaves us uncompetitive in a global market.
If we leave the free markets alone they will create new and better jobs.
What are the odds our politicians will keep their grubby hands out of this?
