VP's have two jobs...1) Stay alive in case the President can't do his/hers, and 2) Chair the Senate
...they don't make policy...they support it...and go on trips as a representative of the USA...also, they stay briefed on all Presidential matters so they can be prepared should they need to replace the President.
Now, as for the Biden administration's performance, it has passed outstanding bipartisan legislation that benefitted ALL Americans, regardless of party affiliation...as contrasted with Trump's 4 years.
