The Backfire Effect has been observed in a number of scientific studies.

A study that examined voting preference showed that introducing people to negative information about a political candidate that they favor often causes them to increase their support for that candidate.

guarantee all unborn killing as legal now in any circumstance very sadly - they stuck into the state constitution. Thus it isn't even the hot button issue here that they think that it is (the NYT was slow, but they caught on to this realization themselves recently).

But Dems have already maxed out with the pro abortion women vote. And those ads irritated absolutely every guy trying to watch the game.
