The electorate has delivered its resounding verdict in favor of President Elect Trump.
Democracy is most difficult when one’s candidate loses.
Yet, every American’s voice, through their ballot, has equal power. Collectively, America chooses its path forward in each election.
Albeit a blow to my soul, the electorate’s verdict deserves our respect. President Elect Trump is empowered through the voice of the electorate. That is the core principle of our democracy.
For all of you who supported Trump, congratulations. A big victory for the Republicans indeed, who will likewise enjoy full command of the Senate, and will likely retain control of the House.
Spike the football as you deserve to do.
I remain convinced that America will deeply regret their 2024 verdict as they witness a second Trump term of unprecedented incompetence, chaos, division, shame, abuse of power, and compromised national security.
But today, the 2024 electorate sees a better America under Trump and the Republicans.
Time will tell. Godspeed America.
