Meanwhile, those of you who call Trump a convicted felon have no idea about the law. A person is not a convicted felon until he is sentenced on the charges that the jury found him guilty of. He has not been sentenced yet, and therefore he is not a convicted felon. That is the law, like it or not.
I think Judge Merchan knows this and may want to sentence Trump in November to something even if it’s just fine just so people can legitimately say that Trump is a convicted felon.
