Most likely scenario is that McConnel would successfully delay process, and Trump would get to name
the replacement after he takes office.
Very risky for them. I would put a lot of money on McConnel being able to delay that. The article expresses pathetic joy in imagining conservative heads explode, but how would they handle it when their "gotcha" turned around against them?

Anyone can be nominated, they still have to get through the Senate and Garland would not have gotten
through anyway. And thank God for that. The so called moderate at the time that Democrats claimed is certainly not moderate.
