Established after 9/11, the DNI is the HMFIC of 17 US intelligence agencies, tasked with knowing every kernel of intelligence, much of which is supplied by our allies.
It is a massively critical post. Intelligence is vital to US national security.
Tulsi is regarded as a lightweight in Washington, and possibly a Russian asset.
