I saw Sandy Koufax and spoke to him. He was 83 and he looked like he was 60 and in shape.
Very nice man and was not put off that I recognized him. He was at a golf course and dressed in plaid clothes. Not the coolest guy, but a guy who was kind, polite and seemed like your good cousin.
I got to meet Jim Kaat last year
He lives about 45 minutes south of Savannah in the middle-of-nowhere Sapelo Hammock Golf Course, which I highly recommend if you're in the area.
Also get to see Oakland Raiders great George Atkinson on a regular basis as he is an owner and member of our golf course.
