It's hard to drum up the outrage with the popular vote lost.
Trump won that by a significant margin. The red states weren't close, and significant gains were made in "blue" states. 4 senate seats were flipped, and the house may end up with net gains, too.
Tough to motivate major protests with a decisive sweep.

and that at least the GOP Senate...with its choice of John Thune instead of Trump's choice of Rick Scott for Majority Leader...senses that marching to DJT's tune would spell disaster for the Party moving ahead...we'll see if Trump applies enough threats and pressure to change their minds...but he has only 18 months left before he becomes a total Lame Duck.
