Woke BS. Lying. Unnecessary COVID Shut Down. Banana Republic use of DOJ against your opponents. Incompetence. 2 wars(so far). Lying about Biden not having dementia.
Boys competing in girls sports. Unbridled spending. America Last.
You lost because of all of this. But you won’t admit it because you don’t want to let go of any of it.

When you combine this with the fact I previously posted that 2/5 card holders have maxed their credit card you start to see the pain and financial hardship this has caused.

It is who we are now. It is the path the electorate has chosen.
Let’s give Trump 2.0 the runway it deserves. The electorate has spoken.
We remain a deeply divided nation. Trump’s popular vote win is still relatively marginal compared to Reagan, Obama, and Biden in 2020.
The 2024 electorate was less principled and more pragmatic at the ballot. I do not believe it was all about inflation, albeit a big issue for many households. The support for Trump is more fundamental, a distrust of the status quo. The majority perceived a better future for themselves under Trump. I remain convinced they will greatly regret their judgment. And sooner than later.
You have zero credibility.
I see "fascist" is now replaced by "oligarchy".
.
that he is in constant need of money…and those “Oligarchs” have it.
btw, your posts don’t exactly paint the image of someone who is at the top of their profession.
Job #1 is to limit the damage by working with the rational elements of the Republican Senate and House to contain his worst impulses...Job #2 is to continue that collaboration and make changes to ensure this never happens again.
Long term, IMO we need to do whatever possible to keep the country from becoming an all out Plutocracy of unelected Oligarchs...are there enough principled Public Servants?...we shall see.

Latino students at Kansas U....from the article...
----------------
After Trump was announced as the 47th president of the United States last week, an exit poll which surveyed voters across 10 key states went viral on social media, particularly among Latino voters, for its breakdown of voters by race and gender.
The poll conducted by NBC revealed that 55% of the Latino men that voted, voted for Trump. Many were confused by Latinos’ high turnout for Trump, not only because Trump has platformed comedians which spewed hateful jokes towards the Latino community and has based much of his platform on his abhorrence towards Latinos, but because Latinos historically vote Democrat–and not by low margins.
Members from the Latino community know that this issue is more complex than the media is making out to be.
“I think there’s this misconception that Latinos are super progressive,” KU student Annalia Escalante, who voted for Harris, said. “We’re actually very traditional and conservative especially because catholicism is deeply engrained in our culture.”
Catholicism, machismo and colorism were the three biggest factors which Latinos at the University of Kansas cited for understanding Latinos’ high turnout for Trump.
“It’s machismo. Men feel intimidated when a woman is smarter than them,” KU student Vianney Villasenor, who voted for Harris, said. “Men do not want women to have that much power. It’s simply because she’s a woman and they feel threatened.”
There’s many layers to machismo, its homophobic and sexist overtones being the primary characteristics of this mindset. Some men in the Latino community grow up believing that they have authority and power over women solely because of their gender.
Machismo and colorism are two mindsets that go unaddressed in the Latino community, giving these plagues more power and giving the Latino community less of an opportunity for progress.

It certainly makes sense...Harris dominated Trump in their only debate...she's much more intelligent than he is...she's demonstrated power and wisdom in her career as a Prosecutor, Attorney General, and Vice President...Trump has nothing but failures (e.g. Bankruptcies, Crimes and COVID)...plus she's much younger, more energetic and a harder worker. Her only problem was being a Black/Indian Woman.

definitely come into play when choosing a Man or a Woman as President and Leader of this nation in the eyes of many there.
Here's an excerpt from the attached article...if the women can think this way, just imagine the mentality of the men when thinking about a woman in charge of the country.
--------------------
Women Machistas
Women machistas do exist! They are generations of women who live or grew up in Latin American and immigrated to the Unites States truly believing that their happiness depends on a man. Women who uphold the machista culture often place a higher value on the lives, opinions, and thoughts of men more than women. Generations of women have internalized misogyny that creates an unconscious preference for men. They were raised to believe that women who chased after equal rights with men were just being rebellious or causing attention. In the case of sexual assault incidents, most cases go unreported because women ae afraid of losing the man of the house or bringing social shame to their family. Machista women live with unconscious bias and prejudice against women, including their own daughters.
In some Latin or Hispanic families, machismo among women goes beyond the patriarchy and is rooted in religion. It is common for machista women to set standards around their daughters’ pureness and submissiveness. Generations pass down the domesticated roles that grant women as the caretaker and responsible ones in the family. For some of us, it’s easy to recall having to serve our brothers and dad their dinner plate before serving our mom or ourselves. Latino sons are given more liberty with household duties, responsibilities, and social norms. A machista mom for instance, can be seen telling her son it’s okay to stay out past midnight, but insisting her daughter having a chaperone and to be home by 9PM. This is because, God forbid, y uno meta la pata. A euphonism for screwing up and getting pregnant. The truth is, in the case of some machista women, their unconscious bias, misogynistic mindset, standards and expectations, and level of femininity, come from years of generations before them.

would have been more comfortable with a more 'familiar' type of Democratic candidate, who would have likely won easily...given the opponent.
His cabinet choices are principled folks with a lifetime of dedication to unions and blue collar workers.
Trump will tell the wealthy billionaires to pound sand as he raises their taxes.
Of course we know Trump played the marks. It is going to be splendid to watch what happens when governing and leadership becomes real for Trump.
It is just a matter of time when Deplorable America gets what it deserves. And then we will pounce.

Plus, it will extend the life of the Republic.
Will he do that? Anyone's guess. We know Harris wouldn't.
Rubble is not a functional government.
Not to say he will succeed, but at least he is talking about pruning. You are using "rubble" as an excuse to never prune.
