Mayor Pete absolute Fraud who was DEI based on sexual orientation. Guy couldn’t run South Bend
Example - this guy is pushing electric cars and takes a gas car 95% of the way to work then caught getting on bike for last 0.5 mile and promoting alternative methods for transportation. He is a fraud and plenty of coverage of this issue. BTW take the $100 and send it to the DNC to cover those people that all lost their jobs right before the holidays or better yet NC where people are living in tents as the cold weather sets in, as Harris spends her time in Hawaii at a multi-million dollar house. Why hasn’t she called into FEMA briefs about relief in NC, GA or FL, we all know why, she is another fraud DEI hire.
Mayor Pete won his second term in SB with 80% of the vote, meaning the citizens had full knowledge
of his competence and performance...plus he is a Valedictorian of his H.S. class...Harvard Grad...Rhodes Scholar...McKinsey Consultant...Afghan War Vet...and as Transportation Sec'y oversaw the reopening of the Baltimore Shipping Channel in just 2 months after the Key Bridge collapse...plus he's the father of twins. Not bad for a Gay Guy...or any guy...and I'm guessing, much better than you.

South Bend hasn't had an R mayor since early 1970s. They also suffer from very low turnout.

Then voters spend the following years bitching about things in the city but then go ahead and do it again the next election. Same as Gary. Mayor Pete didn't have the ability to fix the pothole problem in the city and, this is a good one, South Bend residents complained about the violent crime problem under Mayor Pete saying that the only safe and well lit streets were the ones leading to Notre Dame.
While you continue to disregard all of PB's other outstanding qualifications, he didn't get to 80%
of the city's votes from Dems alone, so clearly Independents and some Republicans liked what they saw in his first term performance.
Pete Buttigieg is also a courageous and level headed leader who welcomed interviews from conservative media, like FOX...and showed up...with great success. Contrast that with Trump's tucked tail at even the suggestion that he be interviewed by a Non-Conservative outlet...pure cowardice and lack of confidence...well earned.
You make ridiculous, if not bizarre, choices when it comes to assessing leadership qualifications.
What part of really really low tuurnout in SB don't you get? It wasn't exactly a sweeping mandate.
Nobody bothers to vote in SB elections. He got 10k votes the first time and 8k votes the second time. City services and crime was bad under Petey. Not my sentiments but that's the feelings of those living the experience. What part of SB not voting for an R for mayor since the 1960s don't you willfully understand. It wasn't Petey that the few who bothered to vote pulled the lever for, it was the mandatory keeping them in chains D that will always garner the votes.
