President, Rev. Robert A. Dowd's, Initiatives going forward...and, in the context of recent Open Forum posts...especially the Notre Dame Board of Trustees' Task Force Report on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It is a rather detailed and comprehensive document that includes the following sections related to DEI at ND... I) Introduction, II) Context, III) Process, IV) Observations, V) Strategic Framework, VI) Conclusion and Next Steps.
One takeaway from this document should be that DEI is firmly entrenched in the fabric of this University...and reading, even a small amount of it, should help you understand why that is.
btw, I'd also recommend clicking on the embedded link to Fr. Dowd's Inaugural Speech.

One has to wonder if our entrenched DEI policy extends beyond athletic scholarships?

Catholic University...it's easier with Hispanic students since a very high proportion are Catholic, but not so much with African Americans. Take a look at the "Observations" section.

really is...and that they refuse to exercise the "Critical Thinking" you would expect from ND graduates..."Disappointing" to say the least.
wannabes?
The age diversity piece made me laugh.

Otherwise the top schools just perpetuate the same legacy elites from generation to generation.
must be weeping. The humanity of it all.

The median family income for students at the University of Notre Dame is $191,400, and 75% of students come from the top 20% of income earners.
Both the urban and rural poor look well represented, eh?

that it inevitably leads to poor results or mediocrity at best. The best that can be achieved with it is B- results to put it in education terms. Although today's education results are far less than they were 10 years ago, the grades given are higher. Explain that.
Only qualified students will be admitted.

Raising?...They are the ones who have gone public in support of DEI.
Do you ever think before posting?

Are all your accusations against Trump ad hominems? Many of them are, to be sure, but I doubt you think any of them are. When you understand why you think that your accusations are not ad hominems, you will understand why my accusation was not an ad hominem
of that term in the post just prior...here it is again...
------------------
Ad hominem (Latin for 'to the person'), short for argumentum ad hominem, refers to several types of arguments that are usually fallacious. Often currently this term refers to a rhetorical strategy where the speaker attacks the character, motive, or some other attribute of the person making an argument rather than the substance of the argument itself. This avoids genuine debate by creating a diversion often using a totally irrelevant, but often highly charged attribute of the opponent's character or background.
------------------
In this case the issue is "DEI" and I've provided substantial evidence of our Alma Mater's firm Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion...yet you oppose it without a single reference to all the reasoning that the CSC's, Administration and Board of Trustees have expressed in reaching their decision...instead you clearly state that your argument is with ME ("Perhaps Tyrone is trying to sabotage ND fund raising")...that, Ned, is a classic example of an "Ad Hominem", as explained above.
Oh, and Trump's Criminal behavior, Malignant Narcissism, Sexual Assaults, etc. are justification enough for singling him out for criticism...wouldn't you agree?...good Lord, you are really stretching for a way out. ;-)
He just looks at headlines.
embarrasses himself regularly on this board by claiming to be an alum
Just a wannabe leftist.

He’s only been here a little over 4 years.
Yet he knows who GOAT and others are.
GOAT left in 2009.
His profile says he watched Early Era of Ara games in person.
He’s got to be pushing 70 in that case.
I would think he’s been here before.
Just a hunch.
...wriggle out of that one...Fraud that you are.
As for my alum 'Bona Fides'...there's a "Yes" under 'Alum Status' in my Profile.
Now I'm aware of the real reason for all this nonsense...you and others who disagree with what I have to say, just want to use whatever tactic you can to try and invalidate my comments...it is what it is, so carry on...I'll still be here.
I’d be proud to post like either one of them.
I’ve known both for decades.
I admire their style.
A little full of himself at times and not nearly the standout poster that he proclaimed to be. Aragato was forgettable at best. You’re a boring dolt who adds nothing to the board. No offense intended.
the username of "Aragoto"?...Yes, or No. It only takes a couple of seconds...just do it and we're done.

If some disgusting child abuser stalker were accusing me of being another poster, I might look them up, too.
Is this beyond your capabilities?

GOAT left in 2009.
----------------
Using his own logic...he's only been here for two years, yet he knows GOAT and Aragoto...is this a case of being OK for Me...but not Thee? ;-)
I actually know nothing about GOAT, but others like Conor do...what I do know is the username "Aragoto's" postings very well (who left just a couple of months before "Hensou" showed up)...and Hensou is a perfect match...the intense interest in my Dad's WWII B-17 crewmember, "Joe"...along with being a vocal and die hard Hockey fan...what are the odds? ;-)
He accused you of that because you stalk him asking if he's a 15-years-ago poster. He has said "no" repeatedly. You pretend that this is some gotcha moment, because he "knows when GOAT left." I showed you how simple it is to learn this, even for you.
You're desperate and flailing.
it under the Username of "Aragoto"?'...he has never replied to that SPECIFIC question, please do us all a favor and ask him to answer it.

the Person posting as "Hensou", the same Person who posted under the Username of "Aragoto"...Yes, or No?...can't get any easier than that...and as a good Practicing Catholic, I know I can trust your answer.

The DEI report should be one page, with the words

And a bonus: They help people regardless of their race ... equality, not equity. Equity would withhold benefits based on skin color.

a great deal of thought and investigation into it...and the Administration supports its recommendations for theological and ethical reasons. All you've brought so far is knee-jerk threat of withholding donations for unknown reasons.
Act like a learned person and cite statements from that Report you disagree with, and explain why you think they are wrong...can you do that? Given your inability to muster a reasoned reply to me on innocent women being forced or coerced into pregnancies, I have my doubts...but remain hopeful.
