How did she compete so well before? I think her worst sin was letting her teammates down. Yet, as
trying to relieve herself from pressure she may have really hurt her legacy. I am not too down on her but I think dropping out still comes out as more bad than good. I am sad for her though.
Sin? The worst sin is Nassar's. I reserve any judgement on her.

Biles is a mess. I can't imagine what she has been through.
Only a cynic or a lard ass racist would criticize her without knowing the facts.

We have no rights to expect anything from her. But she also has no right to expect public sympathy
from anyone either. She made her choice. There are more important things going on. If you can’t stand the heat that you mostly created, then yeah just quit the kitchen and pocket your cash made possible by all the couch dwellers. Just don’t expect EVERYONE to laud you as a hero.

The irony of it is that the hype that causes the pressure came from her and her handlers for
financial reasons.
It rings hollow on the one hand to hype yourself as the greatest ever, but then claim you can’t compete due the pressure you mostly created. It’s okay to be Ali when you can back the talk with the walk.
