had their homes destroyed because of the people and policies that they support.

Every major fire there tracks to excess fuel that is prevented by policy from being removed.
However massive wildfires seem to be common in most if not all of the Western States.
It’s dry and highly combustible. Lack of rain does that.

all DEI and smelt and not raking the woods according to MAGA. And not enough water in the reservoirs which is utter BS.

Who knows, though? Maybe this is just the price of living in that area of California, like DFH says.
The LA mayor sure looked guilty though: "Do you have anything to say to the people of LA?"...asked 10 times, ignored every time with just silence, and looking the other way. All she had to say was, "This is a serious problem. We feel for them. We are doing everything in our power." She just pretended there was no reporter in the room, while the camera filmed her doing it.
The utilities shut off power when there are high winds. Other than that, nothing can be done to prevent it unless you know of a way to stop Santa Ana winds from blowing.

It’s all about the size and scope of these fires. Trust me, it’s “all hands on deck” at the respective fire departments.
I'm not saying fires can be prevented but the fuel to feed the fire can be removed, can't it?
how stupid that is. No forest is cleared or raked…none. It’s impossible to do and would cost billions upon billions of dollars to clear 1000 square miles let alone millions of square miles of forest areas.

buying what they are trying to sell, and Newsom's political aspirations just went up in smoke.Fuck him
Placing blame for natural disasters is as stupid as stupid gets. Fires happen, Santa Ana winds happen, earthquakes happen…
It’s impossible to completely prepare for these things. It’s also impossible to “clean forest floors.”
unavoidable, failure to be ready to act properly is not unavoidable. Ask those affected by this catastrophe
...or keep the Santa Ana winds from blowing at gale force...or stop a small fire from getting out of control somewhere in that vast area?
Stop and think for a moment...preferably before posting.
When Santa Ana winds come through at record speed, then a small spark lights up dry brush…nothing can be done to prepare for that. Please stop trying to lay blame for this tragedy. It’s being dealt with by true heroes. Prayers for the victims and their families is the correct response.
