Why didn't MAGA blame DeSantis when a hurricane took out a bridge? The reservoir being in commission would've had minimal impact on water pressure per officials.
how long it's been out of service. It wasn't in service and the clueless ruling class don't really care. And don't even get me started on the record rain and snowfall over the last few years that had nowhere to go but the ocean. This isn't a one time event. This is an every year event.
people like DJT, Boebert, Greene, Gaetz, Tuberville, and on and on get elected - by out and out bullshit of which you’re one of the proud purveyors of it here on the forum.
Do your homework - do better.
And don’t get me started on the stupidity of your types of comments here.
claim about Rachel Maddow lying...read my post and link in that thread.
Four months into we now know the vaccines work well enough. Liar.

...from the linked article...note that CDC Director, Rochelle Walensky, made the erroneous statement...not Rachel Maddow, who as a reporter, repeated that claim to the audience. That's absolutely not a lie perpetrated by her. If you persist in claiming she's the one responsible for it after being shown that's not true, then it's YOU who is lying.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is clarifying claims made by the agency’s director that people vaccinated against COVID-19 will not become infected with the coronavirus or spread it to others.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow earlier this week, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky cited a study from the agency released Monday that found people who received both doses of both Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccine were 90 percent less likely to be infected with the virus.

“We can kind of almost see the end,” Walensky told Maddow. “We’re vaccinating so very fast, our data from the CDC today suggests, you know, that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick, and that it’s not just in the clinical trials but it’s also in real world data.”
Walensky went on to emphasize the importance of vaccinated people to continue wearing masks and social distancing.
The claim, however, prompted criticism from some scientists who said while transmission from vaccinated people may be unlikely, there is not enough data to claim those vaccinated are completely protected and can’t carry the virus and spread it to others. <./b>
“It’s much harder for vaccinated people to get infected, but don’t think for one second that they cannot get infected,” Paul Duprex, director of the Center for Vaccine Research at the University of Pittsburgh, told The New York Times.

Journalists ask questions and try to find the truth, she's just a parrot for biased sources, like you.
caused NO HARM whatsoever,..hands down, getting vaccinated was the path to take. Unfortunately for all the hubbub that the erroneous statement by Dr. Walensky caused, it happened just before Rachel's broadcast, leaving her and her team no time for backup research, which they are renowned for. RM and MSNBC are true practitioners of "Journalism"...unlike FOX who's only concern is for keeping their stock price high by feeding their audience with the lies and misinformation they pine for....Google "$787M Settlement".
You make horrific choices when it comes to information sources.

...however, the salient point for Musky is that Rachel Maddow didn't lie...she relied on the CDC Director, as she should. Fortunately, the CDC and Dr. Walensky didn't pull a "TRUMP" and refuse to apologize while clarifying the message to the public. Mistakes happen...in that case Dr. Walensky showed her excitement over the excellent real world data...NOT PERFECT, but OUTSTANDING enough (95% Effective then) that "Herd Immunity" was a real possibility very soon...IF we could just get 70-80% of the population vaccinated ASAP. She's a true Physician who was doing her best to save as many lives as possible...and not someone running for re-election and telling the country COVID would go away on its own when the warm weather came around.

The fact is, it is completely full but out of commission due to repairs happening.
“A 117-million gallon reservoir in one of the Los Angeles communities ravaged by wildfires was out of commission when the fire started in the area on Tuesday.
The Santa Ynez Reservoir in the Pacific Palisades has been closed for repairs after a covering designed to preserve water quality tore. The Los Angeles Times first reported that the reservoir was offline.
The reservoir’s status may have limited the water system’s ability to provide consistent pressure for firefighters, but Marty Adams, a former general manager of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, said it is unlikely to have made a significant difference in the battle against the Palisades Fire, which burned through 20,000 acres as of Friday afternoon.
“It was out of service. I don’t know exactly how long it’s been out of service,” Adams said. “

What's the timetable on the repairs? What's the hold up?
