Sounds like someone greased the wheels for advancement. You know like how Jill’s protective agent becomes the head of the Secret Service. Sounds like a lot favors handed out that had dire consequences (67 dead & an assassination attempt) to our Country!

She might have been skilled enough to be in a cockpit, but based on the event, she may have just been on a convenient "military track" for a future political career based on her posting as a "military social aid" at the Biden White House. It may have also been an ATC DEI issue instead of the helicopter pilot.
Regardless, my thoughts go first to the children on that passenger plane, not your DEI cause.
DEI is definitely a possibility, and tough luck if you don't like that our thoughts go to the obvious competency issue. This administration WILL look into it as they should.
Medals are awarded to DEI's like candy, flight hours are counted, but were they of the same standard of quality expected before DEI and for non DEI pilots?
It is not unexpected that the Left will claim outrage when these common sense questions are asked of candidates picked for racial/gender characteristics rather than merit. It is also sad that those diverse candidates that are actually competent have to live with the stigma of that question following them around in everyone else's mind whose life depends on them.....but that is your fucking fault for the stupid policy of racial/gender discrimination.

She probably got her choice of duty station coming out of a WH job, that's how it works unless she was due for an over seas assignment.
How can a guy who has no basic idea of how Medicare or Medicaid work be HHS Secty?

1) Outside of the present day DoD bureaucracy which has been culled and groomed to reflect Obama and Biden since 2008 (Trump didn't fully realize the importance of this in his first term). His lack of experience beyond that is actually a plus because it makes it less likely that he is another Deep Stater, and also someone who hasn't been formated into the same way of thinking of the past 16 years.
and
2) He will be loyal to the Chain of Command - a really, really big deal to a POTUS who had his top general going behind his back with our greatest enemy and get away with it.
Trump wants a reliable head at the DoD. It is his right to choose the person who he thinks can best give him this. Despite the idiots here who expect that he should be required to pick another Obama loyalist who wants to use the military as a giant social experiment rather than as an entity that can wage wars effectively when needed.

not the Marines.
Time will tell regarding his job performance. I hope he’s successful.
