The desperation with which the Dems are frantically trying to stop the reveal says it all. Their entire defense is ad hominem. They never address the elephant of government corruption in the room.

The toothpaste is out of the tube now. Libs here can rant all day long - there is NO WAY that USAID or others are ever going to get the congressional blank check again.

Let’s wait until about year two when prices have not dropped and see how the rating is. The hard-core cultists will still vote “yes”. But those who voted for lower prices will not be happy. You can only get points for hating on the brownies for so long. Easy to blame… That’s really lame.

But it sure makes some people feel better. Good luck with your Social Security check.

So, do you support cutting spending, or not? You criticize Trump trying to do it. Should he not cut?

Cutting spending yes. Gutting important programs that the dear leader doesn’t like, no.

Orange couldn’t give a rats ass about spending. Proved that first time around. He just wants to destroy what he regards as the deep state and programs he doesn’t like. If he likes the expenditure, he has no problem with it The amount of money he will be wiling to spend on deports and detentions will be astronomical, no matter how much it hurts the economy. He’s not about saving money in the abstract. He’s about destroying what he doesn’t like and wants to take revenge on. Every federal department and agency should get a haircut including Musk, but that won’t happen if they are things the co presidents like or have an interest in. I told you from the start I’m open to cuts for BS things that USAID does. But to essentially eliminate it is stupidity and won’t even save that much. And the deficit won’t be significantly impacted with out some tax hikes and entitlement cuts which is where the real action is at. This is all window dressing for show and revenge.

You want to really cut the deficit? Dust off the Bipartisan Commission report that Barry pitched in the trash in the early teens. MAGA won’t touch it with a ten foot pole because it spreads pain around to everyone including their wealthy benefactors. Neither will the D’s for that matter. And so it goes. But keep hunting woke and snapes in the USAID if that makes you feel good and gets you talking points. Just don’t say you’re serious about the deficit.

If it were up to me, I would do things that would make everyone howl on both the spending and receipts sides . That’s the point though, EVERYONE, including Mars missions when we can’t even do a basic safety net.
