Why are we providing them with our military protection for free again?
Why are we allowing them favorable tariffs?

Apparently China interfered in two elections in Canada.

for them when they needed the Trump/Russia Collusion propaganda. Before that, Putin invaded Crimea, and Obama would only give the Ukrainians blankets. And even after that, Hillary Clinton (Sec of State at the time) and Obama wanted to simply
"hit the reset button".
Now Putin is evil and bad to the left (which he is), but Xi and China are really no threat and a country to be admired. It shows you how much influence they have gained over their information sources in the MSM and their programming sources in the Biden/Obama Whitehouse.
China was behind the COVID pandemic which the Left is secretly grateful for because it allowed the to cheat in the '20 election. They wouldn't even allow an investigation into the origins to proceed, and they lied about the evidence pointing directly and irrefutable at China.
China was caught paying Joe Biden and his family large sums of cash and buying Hunter Biden art work for ridiculous sums in return for favorable policy.
Now just imagine how the left would respond if they heard that Putin had 13,000 troops in Canada along with 67 installations throughout the country. Yet they act with dismissiveness when we discover that Trudeau has allowed armed and specially trained Chinese fighting troops of significant size within a short drive from our border.

And the stuff going on in Panama. China is playing a long game here.

And, per that document, Mayorkas made their entry process easier, because it took too long to release them into the United States.

Because when the Iranian extremists overthrew the Shah we didn't tell the refugees from the US embassy to GTFO and leave them to die on the streets of Tehran. We gave them shelter, aliases, and smuggled them safely home.
Because when you asked for help, we signed up for the Gulf War to chase Saddam out of Kuwait.
Because when planes were crashing into buildings on 9/11 and you closed your airspace we opened up our airports and homes to give you safe harbour.
Because when you asked us to participate in attacking Al Qaida and overthrowing the Taliban we signed up without hesitation, and shed our blood in Afghanistan right along side you.
Because that's what allies do.
And you still ask why?

Your statements about the past are true, but we all know that things can change.
You offered not one explanation for allowing China to train it's ground troops in the cold North American conditions. Were you aware of it before this? Did Trudeau consider his closest ally that pays for your national defense when he did this? Do you agree?
Do you agree with the unbalanced trade tariffs that were in place?
You did agree that it was not unreasonable to block fentanyl and illegal crossings once pressured in a post that I think you made about 2 weeks ago, but why weren't you already doing it?
Sometimes in relationships, it's good to have these type of questions.
Because when the Milton and Helene hurricanes hit the southern US, we send disaster relief aid and personnel to Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
Because when the power goes out we volunteer a thousand electrical workers to those same states to get you back up and running again.
Because when California was burning we sent firefighters and water bombers to assist you.
All within the past year.
Governor Ron DeSantis: “I was over in Hardee County, ran into a bunch of linemen from Alberta in Canada. Can you imagine that? We’re bringing them in from Canada even. So those guys were, I mean, they were really big strung guys doing a lot of great work. um They weren’t happy that Florida has the Stanley Cup and they don’t, but they’re out there working really hard. So from even Canada, they were brought in for this. So that’s really, really good,” DeSantis said.
And you still have to ask why?
You are a clueless buffoon who does not understand what friendship means. You need to sit this one out.
Buffoon, hilarious.
When a country sends emergency aid, they generally expect the same in kind in times of need.

Of course you are ok with this...you believe in appeasement. You want to look the other way. It is why we have such a mess.
This is another thing that needs to be confronted. We pay a shit ton in defense for Canada with tax payer dollars that you have never learned to respect.
Our closest ally shouldn't be doing shit like this. Canada has always been our ally, Trudeau is not the US's friend. He is a globalist (as you are too really).

If the US did not pledge naval and air support, Canada would have to build, train, and staff their own - much more than they presently do. If Canada were to do that - carry their own weight with defense, that would ease the burden to the US taxpayer (whom again, you don't give a shit about - I noticed that you excluded that part of your selective quote of me).
No specific defense money is directed at "Canadian defense" or "to Canada" because the US has built a navy and air force big enough to defend the region with the knowledge that the Canadians were not up to the task in the past. That does not have to continue to be the case. (I spell this all out for you now because I forgot how much of a concrete thinker you really are and I had assumed that you could see the obvious implied meaning of my statement - sorry).
You're view is that that "we would have to do it anyways" which is in itself, another form of the appeasement policy that you so dearly love.
A further point for Your Concreteness: I do not want to change our agreement with Canada. I want them to get China's military THE FUCK OFF THE NORTH AMERICAN CONTINENT.....you know, like they are actually a real ally.
I'm cutting The Hosers some slack because the did just rid themselves of a big part of the problem - Son of Castro. And it looks very likely that the same common sense that swept through the US has also swept through Canada which we will see this Fall on Oct 20 when the real federal election happens.
I am sorry to have to tell you this, but everything that you were taught and believe about FP came from incompetents. Garbage in: garbage out.
If there were no USA, they would spend exactly the same as they do now.
And who would have owned Alaska still without Seward's Folly?

Canada has been our ally for centuries. They’ve assisted and took part in almost all of our military interventions. We can’t take that for granted.
Because letting China post a military force of that size near our border looks an awfully lot like taking us for granted.
Imagine if this were Putin's forces, because there is no difference between him and Xi.
I also want to point out that with your last post here, you are the only Dem on this board who has said that they even see a problem here.
"I didn't say that I like it" is a pretty weak condemnation, but it's something I guess.
The reason that Canada was letting fentanyl and illegal Chinese across our northern borders was because Biden/Obama looked the other way.
The reason China has their army in Canada is due to the same reason with a corrupt Canadian leader.
How about Canada start acting like the ally that it has been historically rather than the past 12 years since Trudeau came in and get China's army the fuck off of the North American continent...you know, like a good ally would?
Canada is our closest ally in the western hemisphere…period. I’ll be honest…this Chinese military thing is news to me. Not a good thing, however judging from the article, this has been going on for a long time. Why wasn’t it emphasized and or pointed out during Trump’s first term?
The vast majority of Fentanyl comes via the southern border. I don’t see a correlation between the Chinese presence and drug trafficking.
Here’s my take…Trump should resist making idiotic statements like making Canada the 51st state, taking over Greenland, owning Gaza, taking back the Panama Canal, et al…
I’d like to see him govern and making dumb statements ain’t governing. I’ve yet to see you denounce a thing he’s done or said. It’s like you’re either deaf or blind.

Are you pissed at Panama suddenly too, and think we’d need to have Greenland?
Any other pointless distractions you’d like to jump onto, while the authoritarians take over?
EDIT; that article is laughable. 100% lies.
Amazed you didn’t know, being an expert and all.

And we provide all of the western hemisphere with military protection. It’s in our national interest.

I think that the country's recent rejection of him proves this point to some degree - they don't want him anymore. And it does like they will take swing to the right this Fall.
But anyone thinking this is a wise thing to be doing is either fucked in the head or Chinese.
I am not looking to cut ties, but I don't believe in looking the other way with this stuff. China and Xi are every bit as bad as Russia and Putin....but they are a much bigger threat.
China has been systematically infiltrating ALL western countries for decades. This isn’t new. China is not our friend, however the USA and China is tangled together economically. That is why I highly doubt that a Chinese/US war would ever happen. I could be wrong, but think about the supply line disruption if that were to happen.
