Peace is pursued through strength and principle.
A peace deal where Putin submits to US leverage and pressure is one thing. A peace deal where Putin is the shot caller, where Ukraine is excluded from the conversation is suspect from the jump.
Putin is playing Trump like a fiddle. Why? Because Trump seeks to be in Putin’s good graces. Trump is not strong and bold. He is a coward at his core.
And Trump and Putin are not exactly honorable men. Quite the contrary. Ask yourself who is the honest and reliable witness to the negotiations?
So don’t assume that a peace deal is in the best interests of the United States, merely because the war ends.
What are the long term costs and consequences? Is America’s honor and longstanding reputation as “no better friend” now for sale?

and that’s what Trump is proposing to Putin. I would be impressed as hell if Trump negotiated from a position of strength. His infatuation with Putin is Bizarre on many levels. You’re a good guy…I know you see this.

Zelensky & EU political elites want to continue this war. That's why they're excluded from Riyadh
negotiation. Riyadh negotiation is about ending the war, about peace, not continuing the war.
Russia is winning. The term of negotiation certainly is in their favor. Ukraine is losing. Zelensky knows the term of negotiation won't be in Ukraine's favor. Thats why he is reluctant to negotiate now. Very simple.
