As Fareed says...NATO has never attacked anyone...and only invoked "Article 5" (mutual protection) once...after '9/11' when the U.S. was attacked.

Operation Noble Anvil.
It was not authorized by the UN Security Council. So it violated UN charter. NATO's charter restricts the use of force to a NATO member who is attacked. But Operation Noble Anvil attacked a country who didn't attack any nato member. The operation violated NATO charter.
Operation Unified Protector.
It was executed in an illegal way, since the UN resolution allowed only the enforcement of a no-flight zone for the Libyan Air Force. But NATO went beyond that mandate, attacking the Libyan army, yes, you hear it right, a sovereign nation's army. NATO acted as the Air Force of the Rebel group in a country's Civil War. This country is even not a European country.
First off, Eli, you didn't watch the video and listen to Fareed utter those words...nor do you
understand the English word "Context". Watch the video and note that before Fareed says those words, he explains that when it comes to Russia, NATO is a "Defensive Alliance"...it has never made an offensive move against Russia in its entire history...so Putin has zero evidence to claim concern about such a move...unlike what he has done to Ukraine.
As for the NATO Operations you cite...neither was an aggressive "First Strike" against either country...those strikes were U.N. sanctioned...long after the War in Kosovo and the Libyan Civil War had started...and they brought PEACE.
You are no more than Tool and Mouthpiece for a Murderer...you've made that abundantly clear. Why you want to use the freedoms of this country to trash it is a mystery...but we'll get through this...and end up watching Putin's demise. He's panicking right now, and making poor decisions that are already backfiring on him.
