This is the core of their problem, they celebrate losing.
She was the least popular VP in history. Even as the cracks in Joe's campaign started to become too obvious for people to actively ignore, most were thinking it can't be Kamala. And then everyone pivoted to how great a candidate she is. And now after losing, predicably, she is a hero.
