What i thought was interesting was Vance's annoyance with Zelensky - clearly there was something more behind the scenes before this press conference started.

I feel sorry for the Ukrainian people, but not for Fatigue Boy - he hurt his people today - either for his own ego or for his desire to avoid a peace that forces him out of power. Regardless, I feel sorry for them.

He said that he’d end the war within 24 hours of him taking office. Another lie. Trump voted with Russia, North Korea, and Iran the other day. Trump has switched sides.

Zelensky wants his country to survive. He’s interested in his national defense. Trump essentially gave Putin what he wanted. I’m surprised Trump didn’t have Zelensky arrested so he could hand him over to Putin.

But regardless, you should watch Lyndsey Graham's interview. he was furious because he was one of the senators meeting with him before the press conference (R's and D's told him not to get into the details of assurances at the presser and not to argue or bait or disagree - that was for later, but Z intentionally did it anyways).

Guess what? Z had the support of almost the entire American population before that meeting (I was undecided on him but concerned as previous posts have indicated). He left with 47%to 49% support - just the libs......who are out of power. There is NO WAY Zelensky wants peace of any kind.

After that intentional bushwhack at what was supposed to simply be a photo op - he can't be trusted as a partner.

The Ukrainian people need a different leader if the US is to assist anymore. Trump is in power. He is not seeking re-election. He stood for peace and the US interests which is what we want on my side of the aisle.
If you really hate Putin as much as you say, you should be pissed at Zelensky because he just increased Russia's chances of getting what they want.

The aid is done. This wasn't Trump's window for brokering a deal, it was Ukraine's. And Zelensky just gave a big FU to keep himself in power.

And you don’t speak for Zelensky. Saying he doesn’t want peace is completely false. He wants a fair deal. Not some deal that’s going to 100% appease Putin. I have faith that history will prove me right on this.
