Jeff Jackson's last home game was Saturday night, ending his 20 year tenure. While the team is down this year it does not diminsh his accomplishments, which I won't regurgitate here. He made Notre Dame hockey relevant, which no doubt contributed to the construction of the spectacular Comptom Family Ice Arena.
I attended both weekend games against a very good Michigan State, and we lost both. Marcus Freeman and several players including Love, Greathouse, Wagner, Bowen were in attendance Friday night.
Thank you Jeff Jackson and best to you in your next endeavor, whether it be sitting on your ass or something else in hockey.
