This would be the result of granting Zelenskyy's demand for membership in NATO as his condition for him stepping down. It is a nonstarter with almost every member, and Zelenskyy has already been told this many times.
Zelenskyy is offering up a condition that he knows won't happen before he will let his people have the liberty of choosing their leader again.
It also means that if you libs get your way and we continue to give Camo Commander everything he demands, we will have our own troops fighting against Russia - another nuclear power.

NATO was expanded anyway. With the threat of expanding NATO to Ukraine, Putin acted. I’m not saying invasion was justified but Russia has been clear on this point. They want a buffer. Either the west respects that or Russia will take territory to force it. So we are here we are today.
Anyway, no way Ukraine enters NATO. It’s also why Zelensky is trying prolong the conflict. He hopes to embroil one of the Actual NATO countries.

'Special Military Operations', and take another look at why the Soviet Union failed so miserably. They could do far better by simply joining with the rest of Europe in democratic pursuits. Right now, by most independent assessments, Russia's economy is not one to invest in...again, the Oligarchs need to do some long-term planning, and make needed changes...sooner, rather than later.
Should that change occur, then there's no need for Ukraine to join NATO...and Russia would actually get ready access to Ukrainian assets.
Peace and Prosperity...now that's a deal worth making. Should that not come to pass, then NATO has had a long standing 'Welcome Mat' out for Ukraine (see linked NATO summary on this issue)
