People’s priorities here are always comical. I have a daughter who played sports in HS including
tennis at a high level. I completely get the opposition to biological males competing in women’s athletics and it would have sent me into orbit if I actually encountered it when my daughter played. Those are fair points, but they aren’t the issue. What is the issue is the GOVERNING party has zero
clue on how to address them. Their “solutions” we know will make things worse. Their budgetary plans would add over 20 trillion to the deficit in 10 years which is unsustainable. Their Ukraine solution is to impose a Russian favorable “truce” without adequate security guarantees which will eventually lead to the absorption off Ukraine into Russia which is Putin’s goal. I don’t look to the D’s for viable solutions. They are too far gone left like the GOP is too far gone MAGA. Last night tended to prove those correct. The answer will have to come from the Independents. In the meantime, the D’s are generally the less bad option of the 2 on the current situation.

Support for the rule of law, support for a fair peace in Ukraine, a willingness to reject their
past position on the border, at least some basic level of health care for all Americans, no more tax enrichment to billionaires and oligarchs, support of NATO and the Western alliance, something more than a piecemeal transactional view of every foreign policy decision, an inefficient, but at least functioning govt, not chaos, an end to govt by a wannabe autocrat.
Not so sure about the support for the rule of law. According to Dems, what does a fair peace in
Ukraine look like? Not sure they have changed their position on the border. Your other points are fair, but all we hear from Dems is anti-Trump rhetoric.
The battlefield realities are they will have to sacrifice some territory. A fair peace provides them
with the 4/5th’s they still have and security guarantees which they won’t get when Orange brow beats them into a deal.
