I'm guessing that more than a few 'Adults' sat down with the "Kid" and read him the riot act...

Neither has any history of friendships with anyone... and both have had unstable personal lives.
I'll be conservative and say that Elon is out of the picture before the summer and that Trump will be insulting EVs made in China and sci-fi fantasy trips to Mars with his usual sadistic glee. It's tough to predict Elon's reaction... although he had a very difficult relationship with his father.

The Dems have a habit of providing much needed leadership that produces progress...and fixes
problems...FDR (too many +'s to mention), Truman, JFK, LBJ (e.g. Civil Rights), Obama (HC and Recovery from the "Great Recession"), and Biden (Recovery from COVID, physically and economically...bipartisan legislation, like Infrastructure and CHIPS).
Not sure why you keep forgetting such things ;-)
