First time I've had it. One sip in, and it is a recommendation.
Right away, strong cream notes...very surprising...not what I expected at all.
This is their entry level stuff, for pete's sake. $54. I've had Irish whiskey over twice the price of this stuff, but I'm not sure I see a reason to spend more than this anymore.
Redbreast blows away Jameson, Bushmills...even Tullamore. (I'm actually not sure where Tullamore is in the pecking order of Irish whiskeys, but I was always partial to it for a personal reason...but it may be time to give that up.)
