And that was at least a real declared war. We are tobogganing down that slope right fast.

FDR certainly challenged the limits of his "executive" power and thankfully was curtailed by the Courts.
Madison and Jay were brilliant in the Federalist papers to set up balancing of factions in the Constitution.
Much as I support many of the goals of the present administration I am so relieved that we have a judicial branch to restrict any excessive overreaches.
Now if only the Dems could shake off their emasculation complex we might reestablish the balance our Founders intended.

>Biden...Focused on saving American lives instead of playing politics with them, as Trump did in 2020 by falsely claiming COVID-19 was no worse than the Flu and would go away on its own by Easter...or later when Summer arrived. Then worked with the Fed to produce the best economy...and lowest inflation...of any Developed Nation. He even found time to produce signature bipartisan legislations benefiting ALL Americans (e.g. Long Overdue 'Infrastructure' funding that DJT never could pull himself away from the golf course to make happen...and looking to the Future...the CHIPS Act, as well as critical funding for new Energy Systems...including Advanced, GEN-4 Nuclear Programs)
