Maybe that is why the demonstrating Cubans wave American flags.

But, a large chunk (including many posters on this Forum) embrace Make America Great Again for what it means — keeping America white — keeping out the Mu family from South Sudan and other “shithole” countries.

It does not follow that we reject lawful immigration. In a perfect America, everyone supports lawful immigration vs illegal immigration.
However, most of us do not feel threatened or "spooked" by illegal immigrants, as we empathize with the humanity of their plight, and we recognize that our economy has embraced them for decades.

In your mind, and in the minds of the Left as a whole, everything can be justified in the pursuit of progressivism, but everything can be opposed (even enforcement of the law) to oppose conservatism. Constitution is living breathing when you are in charge; Constitution is a limit on power when the Right is in charge. You put partisanship over liberty and country.
On the immigration issue specifically, I would open the doors to the country...but only after closing the government benefits offices. We don't need to bribe people to come here. And, we don't want people who need a bribe to come here. Freedom has always been sufficient to attract the kind of people that make America strong. Interestingly, though, you would seek to attract not freedom-seekers, but free loading vote slaves. Your side opposes immigration from Cuba...why? Partisanship, pure and simple. Party over country, the poor be damned. The poor and downtrodden of other nations are only welcomed by the Left if they are Democrat vote slaves.

They are in the mix and you don't give a crap to filter them out from the legit immigrants.
