A good chunk of the electorate vote from a bad place in their DNA. They fail to vet what they are fed.
And pain is the best teacher.
He was going to do while campaigning. You guys just don’t like it. Your Democrat party has an approval rating of 26% and you still can’t figure out why Trump won. Your party has done nothing to change nor put a candidate out that is going to challenge Vance in 2028. The focus right now is fighting Trump and people are just tired of it.
Oh yeah, egg prices are down and it’s amazing how quickly that talking point went away. Gas prices are also down so try taking a drive and have an omelette today.

I learned that here.
How we spend tax dollars requires sunlight, scrutiny, dialogue and debate.
In Congress.
As the playbook was written.
Just like Russia, N Korea, China.

Inflation, mass wage suppressing immigration and DEI policies don't benefit these people. I know, I grew up below the poverty line and many of my childhood friends lived in trailer parks. Most people don't want to be on welfare and SNAP, especially young men (of all races). They want a good job with benefits that gets them out of the trailer park and into a starter home, then a better home, etc. Opportunity for advancement in life is the name of the game.

why the Jesus comment. I don't preach any religious stuff and consider myself a recovering Catholic. So good job missing the mark there but you're continuously wrong on so many things.
If I went to another country and disregarded their immigration laws, I wouldn't expect people to give me shit for free and then piss and moan about not getting it. But hey, if we boot the illegals, who is going to cut your lawn, pick the fruit and clean your house, amirite?
But it's secondary to class mobility.

How many times per class do your students laugh at you?

Like the rest of us, they seek a steady job, steady income, peace and quiet, reliable healthcare, and a path forward for their kids.
Yet, they placed their trust in Donald Trump to deliver upon their aspirations, when in fact, they were played by Trump’s false promises and fear mongering.
Like you, they slurped up the Trump and JD Vance snake oil.
And they will feel the pain of their poor judgment.
Hence, my post.
Dems lost the blue collar and lower middle class because they had 4 years of Trump to compare against 4 years of Biden. The further you go down the class hierarchy, the more people vote in their own self interests vs ideology.
The objective record reflects otherwise.
Let’s see how they vote in 2026 and 2028.
Feel free to “bookmark” this thread.
And for the young especially, safety net is a way lower priority than jobs.

AOC in 2028.
Josh Shapiro is probably the best choice, but the electorate is wanting of non-politicians, so someone like Mark Cuban or Stephen A Smith would be the play.
Ideally though a 3rd party emerges. Because 3 dimensions is way better than 2.
3 bedroom, 1 bath row home. Definitely close to the poverty line but my dad worked 3 jobs and my mom 2. They were old school Democrats and now would be Republicans. I agree about wanting good jobs and benefits. They stressed hard work and earning what we got. We ate free cheese when we could get it and No frills canned goods. Simpler times without the bullshit DEI stuff that is a cancer on us now.
I was one of 5, we had 4 bedrooms and one bathroom. Luckily the shower was separate. But most of the time I was in the weight room by 6AM and had the luxury of free toilets and showers. After I did chores from 5-6...
Beds and a single. I’m sure part of the 3 jobs for my dad was his mental health. We were a bit much.
Funny thought that his 3rd shift welding job may have been his zen moment. Funny because true.
