PPP loans were ripe for the picking when it came to fraud…
most of which has already been uncovered. The process was put together quickly and by quickly, I mean in a week. All participating banks had to develop loan portals in that time. The underwriting was non-existent and most companies were approved with the bare minimum of supporting documentation.
I don’t know about 100s of kids getting PPP loans, but I do know about the fraud that was committed.
