Question: how do people who want drugs legalized and oppose most triggers for involuntary commitment believe that we will get homeless people into treatment? Bread crumbs leading up to the front door?

Crank and coke. I would think those are the gateway to the real hard stuff, it was for him. He’s finally clean now but always threatened to kick my ass if he ever caught me with anything. Scared me straight at a young age.

use of marijuana. There are medicinal benefits. I eat an edible in order o sleep at night. The VA and my family doctor prescribed pharmaceuticals. I experienced too many side effects, so I got a medical marijuana card. I now sleep through the night for the most part.

Alcohol is much worse, IMO, but I respect your opinion.

Bar. He smoked a ton of weed but backed off that for harder stuff. I have no issues with pot being legal. My daughter has a horticultural degree and I’m trying to convince her to go into the medical marijuana field. She doesn’t like the look of it but there is a ton of money in it for her to start her career. Maybe she’ll come around.

And part of the reason is that buying THC puts you in touch with scumbags who use and sell it. They often sell other drugs. You are who you hang out with.

My belief is that alcohol is much worse, yet it’s legal. We’ve had this debate before. No need in going through it again, unless you’d like to, of course.
