Promoting human trafficking, sex trafficking and drug trafficking is not empathy. Fresh eggs, fresh lettuce and fresh towels...

It’s like prostitution. Making it illegal just helps the pimps and the traffickers.

If the workers know they can’t go to the cops, the criminals benefit.

I know, I know. It’s a hard concept.

...the "Philosophy" is the same...so what Chris posted is true...and you're wrong.

As for the border situation...read your own link...there aren't enough resources to process migrants and ICE personnel need to be reassigned...therefore not apprehending MS-13 gangbangers. Had your hero DJT not killed the bipartisan Senate Border Security Bill, in order to keep Biden from getting credit, we'd have 1,500 more CBP Officers...hundreds more ICE Officers...scores of Judges to process immigrants in < 6 months, instead of 6 years...100+ Fentanyl Scanners for high speed processing of trucks and cars, etc., etc.

Trump is a Total Disaster...and you're still supporting him...says a lot about you.

dealing with them...and all the Border Security/Immigration issues on the GOP Wish List, according to Sen. Lankford. We should be employing them right now...instead we have no funding from Congress for any of it...ICE Officers are being taken away from their jobs to fill in elsewhere....nor have I heard Word One about getting a Funding Bill passed.

Trump is a Disaster.

Had Trump not killed the bipartisan Senate Border Security and Immigration Bill at the beginning of 2024 for purely political reasons, we'd have had the resources needed to properly vet the 530,000 immigrants from those countries...and likely find the fraud cases...along with the 0.0002 fraction of gang members. Note that we still don't have the needed resources to process all the immigrants that are already in the country...but of course to DJT laws don't matter...he'll just issue an Executive Order and deport whoever he wants and make the gang members already here stronger in their communities (they're the ones the gangs prey on)

he wouldn't allow bipartisan legislation, that actually addresses ALL issues of Border Security and Immigration Policy/Processing with immediate and long term funding for needed resources. It takes $$$ and policy agreements to fix those problems and only Congress can provide them...but all we get is chaos from DJT.

...in it, you'll find these comments...
-----------------
Since Donald Trump took control of the party, Republicans in Washington have refused to come to the table and work out a bipartisan solution to secure the border and fix our broken immigration system. In 2017, Donald Trump killed a bipartisan border security package he himself negotiated with Congressional Democrats. And now he’s repeating history.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump and his allies in Congress are more interested in creating chaos at the border to score political points than they are passing legislation to resolve this long-standing crisis. Why? Because Donald Trump doesn't want a solution, he wants a talking point.
------------------

The record shows this observation to be true...and GOP Senator Lankford would agree. Donald Trump is The Problem. You've made a poor choice.

who were in desperate need of escape from their countries. Now, will you acknowledge that had Trump not killed the bipartisan Senate Border Security and Immigration Bill, we'd have had the resources to screen those gang members and keep them from entering, or at least rounded up...processed...and then deported them?

Note that a NY Post article identified ~10 TdA gang members...that's 0.00002 of the 530,000 asylum seekers. See my post on "Perfect is the Enemy of Good".

And, pending legal challenges,.there will be no TDA or MS 13 gangsters at the end of his 2nd.

...note that TdA primarily preys on its own countrymen.

Here's another question...why did Trump kill a bipartisan Border Security and Immigration Bill in early 2024 that addressed virtually all GOP issues...after he himself had called on Congress to deliver in 2019?

Trump is the problem when it comes to our broken Immigration program.
