The grandest of golf's majors.
No one has more pressure than Rory McIlroy but no one has played better in 2025. Wins at Pebble Beach and Sawgrass. As long as he doesn't blow up on Thursday it has to be Rory this week. Finally.

should be a lot of fun.
hopefully.
I did not pick Rory or Scheffler in friends and family pool, in large part because too many other pool participants will, but also because I don’t trust their putters.
We pick 4 players, one of whom must be outside top 25 world ranking.
I went with Morikawa, Matsuyama, Fleetwood, Glover. Yes, outside the box a bit, but looking for a betting strategy that won’t be replicated by pool competition.
the cut.
tournament comments, he's come to grips with the mental pressures. That being said, even Arnold Palmer couldn't complete the Grand Slam (no PGA trophy)...but that didn't sully his legacy, nor would failing to win a Masters diminish Rory. btw, liked his donation of his Players Championship winnings to his long established Children's charity in the U.K...just like Palmer...true Class.

I'm not a golf guy, but I've always thought it was kind of a cool tradition.
Green Jacket Ceremony.
The photo of Matsuyama's caddie bowing to the course on the 18th Green after Hideki won is a vivid testimony to the Respect golfers have for that tournament's traditions.
