The new budget would cut taxes (for the rich) - and INCREASE spending

This is for those who still think all this chaos is about cutting spending. The new budget proposal increases spending. Like I told you.

For those who can’t read it:

“ This $5.8 trillion addition to the deficit (plus interest) would exceed the cost of the 2017 tax cuts, 2020 CARES Act, 2021 American Rescue Plan, and 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law—combined.”

BTW, the author is from the Manhattan Institute, a very conservative think tank.

If true, that would be more of the same, which would be disappointing. We'll see what happens.

Spending needs to decrease.

As I've been saying forever, a 3rd option is desperately needed.

True. Although Trump is kind of a third option; not typical GOP.

I'm willing to give him 4 years to try something different. We know conventional Dem/GOP approaches won't work. Might as well try something else.

I’m sure no one predicted this to happen before the elections.

America...human workers...not so much. How many times do MAGAs need to be told...Trump has no interest whatsoever in anyone who isn't a billionaire who can help HIM.

Of course, every Republican other than Trump was RINO... especially the party's founder, Abraham Lincoln.

Would have stopped him from running.

But you know, woke, trans, and DEI are the most important things.

You should be thrilled with all his winning in those areas.

Thread Level: 2

No it would not, it keeps the 2017 tax cuts the same.
