If you have a child in college today... you know that he or she uses ChatGTP for almost everything.

But it's even worse when they get out and enter the workforce, where they learn that AI is taking over more and more of the actual work.

And then there are Musk's robots, which he claims will increasing perform more and more of our labor.

Is it WALL-E time?

daughter enjoyed college (mainly for softball), she said if she had to do it again, she's not sure she would. My son is earning a 2-year degree on Un-manned vehicles. The program has graduated all of its kids and placed them in jobs starting with really good salaries.

Way too many bullshit classes in college these days. My daughter has a degree in Horticulture and has a job in the industry. They recruited her since it was a specialized degree. We'll see where it takes her but right now, she is enjoying it.

Disclosing sensitive corporate information to a public AI is a major no-no.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

There's a value in learning to think critically. AI will certainly make some existing jobs obsolete.

Steer way clear of Santa Cruz and only do "technical" subjects at most.
