As an attorney I don't understand why the justice department can't just expedite asylum proceedings?

I see no need to antagonize the judiciary unnecessarily by ignoring legal procedures.

This is a Trump appointed judge for god's sake.

Set up and staff the asylum courts and process these illegals out of the country asap... instead of creating evidence as a basis for impeachment.

Takes money, something that would have been appropriated through the bipartisan bill.

You come in as an illegal, you might get a hearing date 6 years later. What percentage of those people do you think show up? I'm guessing close to 0%.

Do you think the Democrats, the judges who are sneaking illegals out of courtrooms to avoid due process...do you think they actually want to expedite these hearings when 99% of them will result in deportations?

The answer is probably to give them due process when arrested, and deport them all immediately. Treat them like Philadelphia Eagles fans...recall them setting up a courtroom in their stadium to dispense immediate rulings.

You can eliminate government benefits and open the border (which was the type of immigration we had 100 years ago...come and work, or come and starve), or you can provide government benefits and have a closed border. When people say that immigration made America great, they are talking about immigration without benefits.

If you have both open border and free benefits, you are choosing to commit suicide as a culture. That's what we were doing before. 300M Americans cannot support 7 billion freeloaders.

undocumented immigrants...and as I've shown in a Texas Tribune article...Lawmakers in Texas 'Don't Mess' with Businesses that hire Undocumented Immigrants.

...from the attached article...
---------------------
5. Taxes

Undocumented immigrants pay billions of dollars in taxes annually. Households headed by unauthorized immigrants paid $10.6 billion in state and local taxes in 2010. This includes $1.2 billion in personal income taxes, $1.2 billion in property taxes, and more than $8 billion in sales and excise taxes. Immigrants—even legal immigrants—are barred from most social services, meaning that they pay to support benefits they cannot even receive.

--------------------

What is it that keeps you from seeking and absorbing information that conflicts with your erroneous pre-conceived narrative?

It's also why if we're going to have national health care, the border has to be 100% secured.

Even hypothesizing that we would get our fiscal house in order to feasibly do that, you simply cannot have some version of "medicare for all" and leave the borders open. You bankrupt the country in a matter of months.

None of it was an accident. Hence their knee-jerk response to these deportations.

The Soros-funded administration from 2021-24 ushered in tens of millions of illegals across the border. No due process or vetting. Now that we are deporting them, their outrage is that each individual isn't being given their own special court hearing.

This was by design.

Biden/GOP bipartisan Senate Border Security and Immigration Bill provided funding for...the Bill that Trump killed so he could continue riling up his Base of MAGAs for the 2024 election. My God, you guys are the best Dupes a Populist could ever ask for.

All you have to do is access the Bill's text...as an attorney, that should be a cake walk...or browse Sen. Lankford's overview on the Senate Floor on YouTube...or his documented summary of the Bill...each of which I've already posted...but ignored by the willingly ignorant among us ;-). They were released into the wild by Biden and most are never seen again.

I love how Trump is portrayed by those with TDS as the villain. And who wants people in the country whose very first action is the lie their way into the country then disregard process?
