His point on the show was more that the Democrats were incorrectly viewed as the cause.
His point was not so much that there was a problem, it was more the Democrats needed to flip the narrative as to not be viewed as having policies that lead to these issues. There was zero taking accountability.

I guess when you have an approval rating in the low 20’s you have to change your tune on things.
