Immigration Bill that provided for 1,500 more CBP Officers...hundreds of ICE Officers...scores, if not hundreds of Judges to process Undocumented Immigrants and reduce the waiting time for admittance, or deportation, from 6 years to 6 months...or less...more deportation facilities and flights...PLUS 100+ Fentanyl Scanners for the thousands of cars and trucks coming into each border control station.Yet, thanks to Trump's Killing of that bill in order to keep low information voters riled up for the 2024 election... We Still Don't Have the Funding for those Critical Needs.
btw, we still need ~11M immigrants to make up for Boomers leaving the work force.
