Any project or research that was approved based on a DEI impact statement is flawed. Why?
Because the hypothesis is polluted by the presence of an unrelated variable and likewise the approval of the project itself.
Throw it out and start over. Really the only logical conclusion after the meddling in such matters by the prior administration. Our universities are not antisemitic. Criticism of Israeli actions is not necessarily antisemitism.
And the crackdown on universities is not about antisemitism. Again, this administration uses issues like this to assert its power. Trump - like all authoritarians - wants to squash those institutions that can check his power.
I promise you he would be going after the universities no matter what had happened in reaction to Gaza. That is not what this is about.
