You miss the point... she would have listened if the controllers hadn't been mansplaining.

Query: If there were women air traffic controllers would she have listened to them?

Trump was right by then. DEI is one of factors to blame.

That small mind in southern CA was wrong too and should apologize to Trump and Musk.

How can you say DEI was one of the issues?…

Because it was a female pilot? You do know that the military has hundreds if not thousands of female pilots, yes?

Only a dim bulb would use DEI as a reason for the crash. Stupid as usual.

I think anyone can say choosing candidates on merit decreases this risk.

So does not having a training flight path so close to commercial airline paths.

I suspect that we agree on both of these points.

We do not know that this person lacked merit, I also agree. But we do know that with the DEI priorities being used by Biden in the military, there is a significant chance that DEI COULD have factored in ti the accident via lack of best competence.

DEI is not only discriminatory, it increases danger risk.

Conducting training flights that close to commercial traffic is not the best of ideas. I don’t agree that because the pilot was female that DEI played a role. That’s a dumb uninformed assumption given that female pilots are equally as capable as male pilots.

Please don’t go down this rabbit hole of idiocy.

I don’t think that because she was female…….

…..I think that because she was a WH intern being groomed for a political career with requisite background military exp for her resume.

Regardless…
choose the most deserving woman, man, black, asian, white, etc…..
…just choose based on merit.
Colorblind, gender blind, orientation blind, political preference blind.

And there’s no proof that she wasn’t qualified to be a military aviator. The DEI

thing is just an excuse to find a reason for the accident. Pilot error does not signify that DEI played a role.

Can there ever be definitive proof even if it is?

I already agreed that this is not proven as due to DEI, but many innocent civilians and their families can also never know that it is not due to DEI.

Why ars we not using merit selection?
Can we agree going forward on merit being the criteria for selection?

No, hence it’s an infinitely stupid thing to claim, especially right after the incident
