China getting crushed - needs a deal

Chinese economy being hit “way worse than COVID” as Beijing spend hundreds of billions to cover up the pain.
They need a deal.
Trump has reached out to offer them a branch on our terms. Xi and liberals will claim Trump blinked. US wins and we all know it

Nonsense. You're talking about Mao's Chinese, I guess. Today's Chinese are very materialistic.

Perhaps the only people i know are more materialistic than Chinese are Korean. In big cities, Chinese today are more materialistic than Americans. You're 20 years behind in understanding China.

It’s the death of their industries that they fear. It’s also why they’re threatening other countries like Vietnam who are eager to replace them as a US supplier.
They care nothing for their people.

Try actually reading the article for once before posting like you’re an expert.

Those poor suckers that live in the country that the libs admire and root for (and protect from revealing their hand in COVID) are going to suffer regardless because Xi and China are as bad or worse than Putin and Russia.
Communism sucks every time and libs should remember that.

But that isn’t what is buckling in China right now. I’ll put more weight on the financial gurus’ knowledge on commerce and trade lines and the pressure on Xi from within his party over 94’s MSM Cable News TDS sources anyday.

With Trump, it’s about getting a level economic playing field, and the best deal for the US. If it means stroking an ego, he’ll do it.

But it’s his action that counts.

….Canada has more Chinese troops in their country than they themselves have (21,000 troops) and all sorts of trade dealing between China/Canada…….while Biden was in office! Euros taking away liberties from people & pushing their globalism at our expense.

I’d rather lose the dependents and find out who are our real allies.
Some pf EU is loyal, some has been screwing us for years.

How on Earth can anyone object to reciprocal tariffs?

So I guess you consider Russia a “true ally?” That’s what the orange thinks, so you’re probably on board with that nonsense.

And where are you getting info on Chinese troops being in Canada?

As far as the tariffs, we shall see, however Trump has indicated that he’ll cave.

That’s an unfair insult wrt Russia whom I consider an enemy.

Also, an ally that just uses us and treats us unfairly is not an ally. Why would you object to reciprocal tariffs?
Trump’s tariffs are actually just a response to unfair tariffs these other countries imposed on us when they realized they could get away with it. They feel entitled now. Do they want us as friends or just as their Sugar Daddy?

Heres the thread w link - Canada allowed 13k troops to do training exercises in cold North American conditions under Trudeau and during Biden’s time. (In case, you know, they ever need the practice to attack us in winter conditions they can’t replicate otherwise since Russia wont let them do it there). Lots of after the fact spin on that.

I got the number from memory wrong - it was 13k+ which is more than half of the total Canadian troops of 22k.

Or maybe, you're too old to practice. You should not be anywhere near patients that need medical care. Basically, you lack critical thinking skills. You are a danger.

Take a minute to really read the article you posted and the website it's from. Go ahead, I'll wait......

I'll give you a few things to consider while you're reading.

1. Do a quick search on the author, your military expert, besides reading the biography on that website. You'll find nothing. That's odd, isn't it?
2. Look at the articles your "author" posted on that website. Look at the dates of all those articles on the Chinese army. Scroll through the 219 pages of articles. That's not 219 articles. That's 219 pages with like 15 articles per page. They all dropped within a few days of each other in 2023. Nothing prior. Nothing after. Your expert sure had a burst of energy that died out quickly, huh? Doesn't that seem fishy to you?
3. Finally, and this should have been the tell that you were being hoodwinked. Read the article you linked. The phrase "The presence of the Chinese Army in Canada" appears 15 times in a very short article. Weird huh? Why do you think that would happen? Maybe someone was hoping someone else would type "presence of Chinese Army in Canada" in an internet search engine and it would magically find the article?

A person of average intelligence would quickly surmise from these three points that, maybe, possibly, they'd been had. That maybe the site was fake. That maybe it was established to hoodwink the simpletons looking for a story to support a preconceived notion they had rolling around in their head and needed something, anything, to point to.

You've been had. Step away from the computer. Put your stethoscope away. Go for a walk. Grab a smoothie and a bag of peanuts. Go sit on a park bench and feed the squirrels. Please.

And your ad hominems continue simply because you are liberal and disagree eith me politically.

Lots of internet scrubbing and aggressive “fact checking” went on to brush up this naughty Canadian behavior. (You do know that exists along with bad sites, right?)

You guys are in for some major misery the next several years at least with the radical you elected (I do blame Trump’s big mouth for that political swing ).
Enjoy the fruits of your liberalism, but don’t try sneaking across our border or we’ll deport you back with penalty - and your fellow libs here in the US won’t care cuz your white).

There may have been some limited military cooperation and observation, but nothing to be concerned about.

More concerning is Trump’s urge to cozy up to Putin. And regarding my Russia comment, I figured that you’re on board with Trump’s Russia love. I rarely if ever see a post from you where you disagree with Trump on anything.

And your thinking that the US/Canada relationship is one sided is completely wrong. Canada has stood by our side, committed troops, et al many times.

Trump is no longer letting them live in the basement. They have to move out, and get a place, pay the rent and pay for insurance. That dosen't mean we won't support them in a fight. It just means they have to carry some of their own weight. That is not unreasonable. Every nation should do that. But everyone seems to think that is just being mean to NATO countries. I for one am glad they are finally stepping up to pay their own way, and I don't understand why Trump causing a stronger NATO is such a bad thing for the Left.

The damage to industries will not be permanent. They will sell to other people. The regime fears its people, not “losing industries.”

And my point is directly relevant. The Chinese people will be far more willing to suffer than Americans. They will rally around their government, and will not give in Trump.

I bet some deal will be made that Trump will convince his idiots is great, but will be essentially the status quo ante. And he will declare victory. And you’ll believe him.

The US holds all of the cards except the liberals sabotaging the effort from within - and China knows it and uses them.

You don’t need brilliant scheming to pull this off,, you need big cahones to weather the market turbulence & fear mongering by the Democrats. Trump has big cahones.
