Took the day off today, so I watched the “Oval Office Circus”…

Trump’s having a press conference with the Canadian Prime Minister this morning. What a comedy show. Trump is still fixated on Canada being the 51st state. He (Trump) said…”never say never”. Cathey said, “never…never.”

Also, has anyone noticed the tacky decor of the Oval Office? Trump is doing his best to make the Oval Office look like a cheesy Atlantic City hotel room.

This is pure comedy.

Trump is making a mockery of the White House and America for that matter. He’s doubling down on his idiotic trade policy even though it’s failing. Trump will create some kind of fake win that will hopefully not send our economy into a recession

really don't want to hear anything now. Thats the main problem I have. Biden was a joke and non-existent and he was given a pass. Hell, he was covered for by the mainstream media. Now all of a sudden, we have a firestorm because Trump is in office. Words matter again and everything Trump says is analyzed.

And I mean that with all due respect.

I’m talking about the here and now. Trump is an absolute joke, especially in terms of diplomacy. The dude is pushing the 51st state shit right in front of the Canadian PM. Tell me you’re not cringing just a little bit when you hear that shit.

comment is because people were literally silent while unelected assholes ran our country. Hell, they defended an empty suit while telling us he was sharp as ever. So, yes, I am going to whatabout it as long as the individuals that were silent under Biden and running their mouths now. Kinda hard to take them seriously while they were quiet in the past.

I don't cringe much at anything Trump says or does. Shake my head, sure. Laugh most times because he is the ultimate troll. He says this shit to get a rise out of people and it works, every single time.

Rights, attack Free Speech Rights, while installing grossly incompetent cabinet heads and an unelected disrupter (Elon Musk, DOGE Director) of vital government agencies, such as Social Security and Nuclear Weapons Security...not to mention a global Tariff strategy that risks Trade Wars, Inflation and a Recession.

That's what so many rational Americans are "Obsessing" about...and it shows in DJT's tanking approval ratings, which have GOP lawmakers beginning to 'obsess' over their chances of getting reelected.

didn't. They blew smoke up each other's asses on what a good job Joe was doing. The circle jerk they had for four years was embarrassing. Now the people who were silent want to complain? Nope, they're going to get a whatabout and then bitch about it.

And I believe he means what he says, so continue to blindly chuckle and shake your head. Words have consequences at this diplomatic level. Sorry.

As far as Biden…he’s done. Non-factor. I focus on the now and it ain’t pretty.

was done. Deporting all the illegals will take forever. And really, Presidential? Any complaints about being "Presidential" from Joe's time? Any "words matter" speeches during Joes 4 years? I can't say I remember seeing many of these complaints or you hammering Joe while he was asleep at the wheel.

I get it, you HATE Trump. It's normal these days but being quiet for 4 years during Joe's time makes it hard to accept the complaints now. I know you're not on the same level as Conor, Chris and Frank and I don't want to see you get there. You're better than they are. More common sense.

Especially the Afghanistan withdrawal. Total cluster fuck. I was critical of Biden quite a bit.

As far as the economy Trump inherited…

The U.S. economy under Joe Biden experienced strong growth and recovery from the pandemic recession in 2021, with high job creation and increased wages. However, inflation also rose significantly, peaking at 9.0% in June 2022, before beginning to decline. The Federal Reserve raised interest rates to combat inflation, and by November 2024, the inflation rate had fallen to 2.7%. The stock market also saw record highs in 2024. Key legislation like the American Rescue Plan Act, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, CHIPS and Science Act, and Inflation Reduction Act were signed into law to address the pandemic and its economic impact. (Google AI overview of which is factual)

Inflation is where Biden faltered. He failed to address it fast enough and paid for it. Trump’s policies are exasperating our economic problems. He will most likely capitulate like the weak ass he is.

because we are getting screwed. You're different in that you hate Trump and was honest about Biden. The rest of the Liberal crew here are pretty worthless. They scream "whatabout" when they sat on their hands and lied about who was running the country. When we pointed it out, we were shouted down and called conspiracy theorists. Now we know it was actually true that some unelected assholes were running our country. They are complete and total frauds. They just have more posts and are given a longer rope here than most.

The latest jobs report under Trump was pretty strong. Adding jobs and shrinking government is something I like. He just needs to continue down this path with the growth. I'm willing to be patient. My 401k has responded and there aren't any more pearl clutching posts about the stock market from the usual suspects.
