Istanbul treaty is centered on no NATO membership for Ukraine and neutrality for Ukraine.
This fact shows this nato thing is the main reason of this war.

The "MAGA movt" is right about Russia, though, so your point fails on that ground as well. Putin only aggressed under weaker, more predictable regimes who would only initially offer Ukraine blankets or Ukraine's leader safe passage out of the country. That eliminated much of the risk (e.g., the risk presented by the US) of invading Ukraine.
There are better things regarding which to criticize Trump. For example, the movie tariff comments are pretty stupid (IMO).
