As the deals pile up, it will be delicious to observe the tantrums and attempts to spin the deals as deleterious to the United States.

Looking forward to the details. 150 billion in annual trade…

And fyi, we have a trade surplus with the UK, so my hopes of something big are tempered.

If they reduce their trade barriers it is a plus for the US.

That is the goal.

I'm hoping its a domino effect. He has to start somewhere and get wins for other to fall in line.

As I said before, you're different and will at least give him credit for wins (I know it pains you, but you'll do it). The others are going to shoot holes in any win that Trump will tout. He's a terrible winner and hurts their feelings so they need to find a reason to hate on the win.

Right. Once China hears about this, they will panic!

you this. As DFH has said, they are the big fish but even when he gets China to agree to a deal, you'll find a reason to complain. He hurts your feelings on a daily basis because you hang on every word he says and you'll never be man enough to give him credit. You'll lose your Liberal standing if you say anything positive about Trump.

A deal with India would be a big one.

I had some product there about 20 years ago and they were terrible. Too much government crap and the workforce was not skilled and infrastructure not there. I spent 3 weeks there at the end of last year, less regulation and lots of investment in people and infrastructure.

Agreed and hopefully that happens soon. It's all about getting wins now as others get in line

to talk. I'm sure conversations are happening behind the scenes to try to work something with the major players.

The “big fish” is obviously China. If his trade policy reduces our trade deficit…

with them, I’ll most assuredly give Trump credit.

in the public eye. I'm hoping behind the scenes, they are talking and trying to find common ground. And when I say common ground, I mean beneficial to the US.

With the side benefit of having Tim Walz to explain it to the white guys.
