Apparently, they have suffered horrible persecution.

I'm so sorry that applicants -- 54 of them -- who followed the legal procedure and have been vetted were granted refuge.
Excerpt:
Refugees can often wait years in camps around the world before they are processed and approved to travel to the United States. Before the first Trump administration, refugee resettlement took an average of 18 to 24 months, according to the American Immigration Council, an advocacy group for immigrants. Many refugees must wait years longer.
The Afrikaners, however, had to wait no more than three months.
The arrival of the white South Africans comes after Mr. Trump signed an executive order suspending refugee admissions when he came into office. Then, in February, Mr. Trump created an exception for the resettlement of Afrikaners, while also cutting all U.S. financial assistance to South Africa.
Mark Hetfield, the president of HIAS, a Jewish resettlement agency, said his organization was committed to welcoming Afrikaners.
“But we are profoundly disturbed that the administration has slammed the door in the face of thousands of other refugees approved by D.H.S. months ago, notwithstanding courts ordering the White House to let many of them in,” Mr. Hetfield said, referring to the Department of Homeland Security. “That’s just not right.”

In February, Trump suspended USARP, established by Congress as part of 1980 refugee act -- designed to resettle the most vulnerable refugees in America.
The Afrikaners are the exception.

You clearly seem to dispute that they have legitimate asylum claims and needs. If that's the case, run with it - I don't have time to do the research at the moment. There are credible stories of what has gone on to farmers and such in South Africa. I don't know the details of the asylum claims of these 54 people. But I'm willing to wager that they're as worthy as the gang members you people flew in over the last 4 years.
You pretended that the Afrikaners were NOT given priority by the White House, when they clearly were as reflected in my posts throughout this thread.
It's OK jakers to acknowledge that you were mistaken or just wrong.
You clearly implied that white immigrants were bypassing the same scrutiny and vetting that all of our immigration applicants are subject to and that they don't have valid claims. You know what you did, don't try to spin it.
You don't have a case here counselor. Dismissed.
Do you agree with Trump's decisions to (1) suspend our nation's global refugee resettlement program in place since 1980, and (2) exempt only Afrikaners, expediting their journey to the United States?
A policy decision? If you can prove damages then go sue Trump in court. Otherwise you look silly
bitching about something with no proven
damages.

They waited just like the other applicants andrespected our laws while we evaluated the legitimacy and severity of their request.
Race was not considered one way nor another….no DEI.
That sounds like the right way to do things.
I’m glad others waiting through the legal process were not disregarded and simply bypassed while these applicants could be vetted for criminals to protect our citizens and for need wrt expedition.
in little packages to keep all you MAGAmorons pacing. Remarkable. Boogeymen everywhere.

And I find it shocking that white people are receiving preferential treatment by the administration. It’s almost like there’s a pattern.
The suggestion that Afrikaners are being exploited somehow is laughable.
