If it happens and is truly a better trade deal for America, I will give Trump credit.

Honestly, I'm not sure any trade deal with China can be a good deal, but we shall see.
They are stealing our tech so fast, and Wall Street bottom-liners are fine with it because they take a quarterly view of things, whereas China plays the long game. Again, we'll see.

There are pure ideals (no weapons on both sides) and then there is reality mixed with ideals (defending oneself is sometimes required).
I don't know if tariffs will fix things. I fear we waited too long, and that we should have listened to Nancy Pelosi when she called for them against China many years ago. Only time will tell. In the meantime, I find it hard to fault Trump for not surrendering to China.

Fair, and I figured you would. It has not been released, so we will wait, but
brokering a peace deal by offering trade agreements that help the US with these tariff wars and replaces our supplier with a friend rather than our worst enemy is a big win already.
I know China has to deal soon.
I expect the MSM to focus on anything bad or morelikely, just lie about it, but again, the market will be far more reliable of a source.
