commentary on Pope Leo XIV from Chicago's own...Cardinal Cupich...

on the issue of greater recognition of Women's rights...and inclusion within the RCC. It is my hope that greater appreciation for the struggles of women in challenging situations like forced or coerced pregnancies will be promoted by Pope Leo, while also noting the Personhood of those women, along with the 'Potential Personhood' of fetuses in those situations...with the end result being a unified approach to the issue of abortion.
Would LOVE to engage with someone (You?) on this issue...in depth and detail...you up for it?
Crushing news to satanic perverts everywhere. Hope you can manage.
predominant countries like Ireland and Mexico have sanctioned abortions recently. To not engage and understand why is simply burying your head in the sand. I'm the one on the "High Ground" here, Jake...not you.
The CatholicChurch rejects abortion. It is viewed as murder. We all get that you enjoy seeing horrible things done to kids, but the Church rejects them all. And you are rejected, too. We despise demons.
Also, don't forget what Pope Francis said about fetal Personhood...i.e. it's debated. He could have ended the discussion by saying Personhood begins at conception...he didn't, and neither has the RCC's Magisterium ever taught that. So, when an innocent Female Person is biologically attacked against her will, be it through force or coercion, and impregnated, she has the right to decide whether of not...given her life situation...to have an abortion. No one else should force that choice...one way or another...and certainly not the government which can't possible "Know" her and decide for her in the short time before general acceptance of fetal Personhood is established.
There's lots to be discussed here...you can walk away if you wish...but again, 9/10 Americans agree with me, so temper your invectives. Frankly, if you really think you can convince one of the 90% that you have the right answers, then step up and let's dialogue. It doesn't hurt, so don't be afraid.
Fantasize otherwise all you want.
undoubtedly a Person...with all the Rights of a Person.

For instance...'Killing' of other persons is termed 'Evil'...yet the RCC Catechism allows killing under "Just War" circumstances (Para 2309), when "Prudential Judgement" is applied, since the assumed innocent victims' lives and/or freedoms are threatened by an attacker. So, when it comes to the Abortion issue, we also have situations where an innocent victim (a woman) is either forced or coerced into a pregnancy that she never wanted...a pregnancy that will surely change her life in ways that can be harmful, physically, mentally and emotionally...perhaps even life threatening. Consequently, she too needs to apply "Prudential Judgement" in dealing with the results of this attack, and one option is terminating the development of a Potential life...since the Personhood of the developing fetus is debated.
I'll note it again...the vast majority of Americans recognize the need for legalized abortion in certain circumstances....not unlike what I just described. In fact the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)...Baron's specialty...has repeatedly, and strongly, advocated for legalized Abortion services. I'll also note that this is not simply a Catholic one...it affects members of all religions and atheists as well.
Women's reproductive rights must be respected and not denied by government. I personally share the desire to reduce the need for abortions, but not at the price of denying women those rights. The best way to promote such a reduction is to support...a) Contraception, b) Sex & Sexuality Education for people of all ages, and c) Fund more programs that make it tenable for women to carry such pregnancies to term.

conception, not personality.
Francis specifically said that it is not appropriate to use “personhood” as a definition of life because that is simply a trait of brain function developed down the road.
The Catholic Church and Pope Francis and Pope Leo all agree that life begins t conception, and that abortion is the killing of a human being and is evil.
We have had this discussion before on this board with the deceiver who intentionally tries to obfuscate the truth regarding the false metric of trying to ise personality ro define humanity.
He knows. He speaks the side of evil so intentionally.
It should be reassuring to anyone if they find themselves on the other side of an issue from Worm Tongue. (Tolkein knew of his kind too).
like the man you claim to be...I'm willing to respond to any evidence/documentation you care to present...sheesh...what a coward...what the heck are you afraid of?
btw, as I've posted more than once...with evidence...the RCC has not taught that Personhood begins at conception...and Pope Francis never recanted his statement that Fetal Personhood is a "Debated" issue in the RCC...ergo, your claim is not true.
Let's also not forget that your own Medical Specialty organization (ACOG) has been steadfast in its support tor legalized abortion...most likely because they deeply care for their patients' well being...i.e. Women...the only Non-Debated Persons involved.
