Totally rigged. The NBA wasn't going to let that happen.

Five steps are allowed, including away from the basket, meaning you can take three steps toward the
basket, and then take two steps backbehind the arc. I love pointing this out to Gen Z and Millennial fans (I don't think anyone over the age of 40 watches the NBA anymore). I ask them, "Wait, you can now take two steps AWAY from the basket and it's totally cool? Interesting. So what exactly constitutes traveling these days?"
