We were trapped and sinking in a swamp of decades of liberal quicksand. He will be the agent of the end of this cycle of life which has passed its useful time.Yes he is a crazy maniac but this is what it takes to end the old world and allow for rejuvenation of the new one. There shall be much chaos but that is just the nature of any transition.

Those decades of liberal quicksand have been some of the most prosperous and innovative times of the
world’s existence. You wanna blow it all up for what? What is gonna be better? Stop being a freak.

You can say Trump won't fix it in your opinion. But let's not pretend we have not been stealing from future generations to such an extent that we are threatening them with not being able to enjoy what we have enjoyed.

We were destroying it. Elections have been about how we want it destroyed.
In a world in which people champion their party's version of destruction as a good thing, crazy options start to look good. Remains to be seen what effect Trump will have, but doing the same thing we have been doing was only ever a viable option for those in denial about where the 2 major parties were taking us. If he blows it up, we will be in the same place we were already headed. The hope is that doing the opposite improves things. I'm skeptical he will succeed, but he is at least trying some different options.

his predecessors of either party.
I could say you are wrong, or that we just disagree.
But even if you are right, you only have 2 real choices:
1) Enjoy life while waiting for the next election; or
2) Getting emotional and enraged about Trump every day until the next election.
I choose option 1. So far, you have chosen option 2. Regardless of who ends up being right regarding Trump, I think my life choice is better.

We resolved this problem once already with the Clinton/Gore program of Congressional
cooperation on negotiated spending cuts...along with tax increases on corporations and the wealthiest Americans. Democrats have been willing to follow the same formula...unfortunately, the GOP will not cooperate on the tax increases...even though we have more and more billionaires. That's simply Greed dedicated to satisfying all its Wants, with no regard for the Needs of others who are not so fortunate.
Bush Sr. also recognized it but was crucified by his own party. Buchanan was Mango before there
was Mango.
The GOP has become the Marketing Department for all the Plutocrats in the Back Room...ebbs and flows
with elections...of course this really goes back to the "Lochner Era"...
